We are still here, and hopefully I’ll get a few good pictures before we leave. But our relaxing family vacation in the Outer Banks in February is coming to a close. So I figured I’d share a few with you on our last day here. (If you’ve been following along on Instagram Stories, you may have seen some of these already.)
February in Outer Banks is still gorgeous regardless, but we got extra lucky this week. Most of the days were beautiful, and some of the days temperatures got up to the 70s. We visited the dunes, the Wright Brothers Memorial, and the beach. But mostly we just hung out with no plans, which is just as nice.
Vacationing is never quite the same with littles. They are constantly buzzing, they need just as much attention and care as they would anywhere else, and sleep and eating schedules get thrown off some. But since we will function together as a family no matter what, I’m happy we got to do it by the sea. Also, it was a LOT easier than the last time we visited Outer Banks!
I’m thinking a future post will be in order for visiting Outer Banks off-season. But for now, enjoy some of the gorgeous pictures. We saw some beautiful sunsets, staying on the sound side.
Heading home (and back to reality) soon! How was your week?
