Happy National Shop for Travel Day! No, I’m not kidding. Where do these national days end? For the love.
Anyway, it’s still a good opportunity to start thinking ahead. This year we’re trying to make a trip, even a small one, quarterly. And traveling with your family is no small feat. Having the right tools make a huge difference.
Here are some of my top picks for travel, as well as some things I want to try:
Rockland Hardside Spinner Set – We have the same brand, but an older model of these suitcases. I’ve never been big into hard shell luggage, but these are actually perfect. They are safe from tears, and the outside is rough, not smooth, so we haven’t had trouble with dents or scratches. I also love that the two bigger suitcases have a huge zipper compartment on one side of the case, which makes organizing easy. I kind of wish we had the rose gold ones.
Mr. Pro Waterproof Travel Kit Organizer – I have this exact one. Even though the front has a spelling mistake, this bag is legit. It has small pockets and tabs on the inside to organize. The top cinches, and rolls down when open. It’s convenient, and I use it at home as well as on the go. Plus it’s waterproof because, life. I used to have a hanging one, and they are awesome for travel. This one has tons of pockets!
MyBaby Sound Spa Sound Machine – Say what? We use this sound machine at home, and have one in each room, because they really work. They both block out sound and help the kids get to sleep. It’s also great for travel because it gives them a bit of normalcy even in a different place. There’s a travel version I need to look into!
Kitdine Portable Soft Silicone Travel Bottles – Everyone knows now that you can’t bring bottles bigger than 3oz on the plane. Pack up your shampoo, conditioner, and soap in these squeezable bottles for easy access. They’re also three bright colors, so you can tell the difference.
Kangaroo Organizer Passport Holder – It’s been years since I’ve traveled out of the country, but when I do, I keep my passport with me. I’m all for cute stuff, and cute this passport holder is not. But it’s durable and it hangs around your neck to keep it safe and handy, and that is way more important. If you’re a fanny pack fan, this one actually comes with travel insurance!
GreenLighting Solar Powered Phone Charger – This product is new to me, but it looks incredibly handy. It’s a solar-powered charger that sticks to your window. So car, airplane, or airport (!) you can keep your phone charged on the go.
Travelon Neck Pillow – Of all the neck pillows in the world, this one looks the most handy. Why? Because as tight and constricting as airplane seats can be, you can adjust this pillow to make you comfortable at any angle.
Edifier Hi-Fi On-Ear Headphones – Earbuds take up less space, but they get uncomfortable quickly for me. I like these on-ear headphones that also isolate noise and fit both adults and kids.
Eccolo Luggage Tags – When it comes to most travel items, I pick practical over cute. This one is both.
