Here’s two more things that made me happy yesterday:
Today I’m a little sad.
I love being able to put this up on my blog as opposed to my Facebook for a couple reasons. One is that I don’t want to create a pity party for myself on Facebook, and the other is that it isn’t fair to generate a whole bunch of concern over a small thing that happened. Suffice it to say, I’m okay, it’s really no big deal, and I’m faithful the situation will work itself out. But I am a little sad. And I know you guys can sympathize without getting unnecessarily concerned : )
Anyway, a good way to cheer myself up when I’m down? Some funny Youtube clips : ) Here are some of my favorites, for your enjoyment:
– Ferris Bueller Say What?? This just got me so excited : )
Despite my feeling sick over the last couple of days, one of the jobs on my to-do list was getting old clothes to Goodwill. Which, of course, meant a trip to Goodwill. The one we live close to now is pretty big, but I never found anything on the multiple trips I made to that store…until yesterday : )
A chambray shirt…finally!
Aaaand a total surprise – a Banana Republic silk t-shirt.
Have a great day!
What do you think of the new header? Thanks to Katy of Sweet Verbena, I was inspired to get creative with it. Her tutorial on blog re-vamping, here, was so easy to follow and clear that even I could do it, which is a big deal for someone as technologically impaired as me. She had more on the topic, but I didn’t get too far – this one header was enough trouble ; ) Maybe there’ll be more to come.
I’d love your opinion (be gentle but honest), as well as any tips or tricks you’ve developed! What have you done to improve your page? What do you like best about a blog? I’m a beginner, so I need all the help I can get.
Also, thanks for your feedback on the cardigan! I love how it turned out, and hopefully you can do the same with some of your shirts! Even James liked it – he commented on it the minute he walked in, and was impressed that I had refashioned it myself – that’s what I call a success!
