Thank you to everyone who responded to my blog survey for 2018! So much useful information there for making What You Make It somewhere you want to keep coming back to. And so many kind words, that mean so much to hear.
Today I’m sharing with you some of those results, and how I’m planning to follow up with them. Almost all of you readers are women, which I was expecting. (At least the ones that filled out the survey.) Most of you are working, even though I thought many of you would be stay-at-home moms like myself. There are all ages who come to visit here. And it sounds like what many of you came or stay for are the posts on faith and life tips.
I also heard from you that you want to connect more. You would like more consistency, more posts, and more video (if possible). I’m flattered, but I’m also hoping you’ll bear with me while I figure out how to make it happen! Because with two littles, it’s definitely tricky.
So here are my goals moving forward – if you’re on my email list, you already know:
1. A new post three times a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with more focus on faith, life tips, and family. (And occasionally the other stuff I like to post about too.)
2. An email update every week on Saturdays.
3. Consistent updates through my Instagram Stories feed – if you’re interested in connecting more on a daily basis and seeing the behind the scenes, find me there!
4. A weekly Facebook Live video – the current goal is Tuesday mornings.
And that’s what’s happening. I’m so glad to have an outside perspective and a better idea of what you’re looking for. Here’s to better things in 2018!
Also, if you have any feedback for me, feel free to email me! I’m always looking for post ideas, constructive tips, and feedback on things you’d like to see more of.
